Before I start with "Why" we do what we do, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being interested in our story and taking the time to read about us.  This Journey started in the summer of 2019.  We had just purchased a house in a rural Texas that needed a lot of love.  Before we bought the house I had some experience doing some light handy work and some basic woodworking. However, after we began remodeling it ourselves, I became obsessed with building some furniture that would last.   Shortly after we moved in, it was decided that we would host my family's Thanksgiving that year in our new home and we would need a table.  My Wife and I decided that we would build a River table.  For those of you who are unfamiliar, that is a mixture of live edge wood faced towards itself placed in a form, and then uses epoxy poured in the center to bridge the gap between the two live edges.  It ends up looking like a river in the middle of your table.  That first table was a lot of work with an huge leaning curve. But, I will never forget the feeling of my Father's reaction to it when he first saw it. To put this into context,  I come from a traditional Italian family, and nothing is more important than family time around the dining table. The family dining table is the hub of the house.  It is where major holidays happen, where we eat as a family most nights of the week,  where our children do homework, and where we come together to make important life decisions as a family.  So when my Father, a traditionally stoic man, continued to "awww" over it and kept walking up to it to run his fingers across the texture changes between the wood and epoxy, it wasn't just simply the pride a son feels when a father is pleased with his efforts. It was the pride felt when you have created something that is generational and meant to last a life time.  It was the pride felt when a purpose and passion is born within you.  It is with this intent that this company moves forward.  We believe in furniture that is built for how you live and that will stand up to the test of time.
